Biography

Song Baoqiang, Chief Physician, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor. He has long been engaged in clinical practice, teaching, and research in plastic and aesthetic surgery, with extensive clinical experience in plastic and aesthetic surgery and reconstructive surgery. He has successively pursued visiting studies in the Department of Plastic Surgery at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, the Department of Plastic Surgery at Stanford University Hospital, and the Department of Plastic Surgery at Asan Medical Center in Korea. His clinical specialties include repair of trauma and post-traumatic deformities, correction of congenital hand and foot deformities, oculonasal aesthetic surgery, and revision of problematic surgical cases. His research interests include wound healing, scar prevention and treatment, and composite tissue allotransplantation. He has undertaken 3 projects funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 4 projects funded by Shaanxi Province, and has published more than 110 academic papers, including more than 20 SCI papers. He serves as an editorial board member and standing editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Plastic Surgery, Chinese Journal of Microsurgery, Chinese Journal of Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery, and Chinese Journal of Aesthetic Medicine.
